The Establishment of a Military Banking Program
Author: Bill Bailey
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category : Banks and banking, Military
Languages : en
Pages : 38
Book Description
Recognizing a considerable military presence in the San Antonio area, National Bank of Commerce (NBC) set up a military banking program. The bank surveyed its own customer base and conducted focus group interviews with active duty personnel and with wives of military personnel to discover the services desired. By using the focus groups results and by "shopping" other banks, NBC formulated its military banking program. It consisted of NBC regular checking account, bank by mail, overdraft protection, free telephone services and a military coordinator. The program was advertised by a specially designed brochure (included) sent to all military installations to be displayed in military accounting and finance offices. A mailing was also sent to all military affiliated customers.
