Book Description
The authors present preliminary results of improved measurements of the CP-violating asymmetries and branching fractions in the decays B° →??−, B° → K+?−, B° →?°?°, and B° → K°?°. This update includes all data taken at the?(4S) resonance by the BABAR experiment at the asymmetric PEP-II B-meson factory at SLAC, corresponding to 467 ± 5 million B{bar B} pairs. They find S{sub??} = -0.68 ± 0.10 ± 0.03, C{sub??} = -0.25 ± 0.08 ± 0.02,?{sub K{sub?}} = -0.107 ± 0.016{sub -0.004}, {sup +0.006}, C{sub?°?°} = -0.43 ± 0.26 ± 0.05,?(B° →?°?°) = (1.83 ± 0.21 ± 0.13) x 10−6,?(B° → K°?°) = (10.1 ± 0.6 ± 0.4) x 10−6, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. They observe CP violation with a significance of 6.7? in B° → {pi}− and 6.1? in B° → K+{pi}−. Constraints on the Unitarity Triangle angle? are determined from the isospin relation between all B → {pi}{pi} rates and asymmetries.

Book Description
We present an update on total and partial branching fractions and on CP asymmetries in the semi-inclusive decay B 2!Xsll-. Further, we summarize our results on branching fractions and CP asymmetries for semi-inclusive and fully-inclusive B 2!Xs[gamma] decays. We present the first result on the CP asymmetry diff erence of charged and neutral B 2!Xs[gamma] decays yielding the first constraint on the ratio of Wilson coeffi cients Im(C8eff/C7eff).

Book Description
A review of the results obtained from the analysis of the B meson decays that involve Radiative Penguin processes, recorded at the BaBar experiment at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center PEP-II B-Factory, is presented. The physics interest of these processes and their SM prediction are discussed briefly. The most relevant selection techniques used in the analysis are described before quoting the latest results made public by the BaBar collaboration as of July 2003.

Book Description
In this article, I review the most recent results in radiative penguin decays from the B factories Belle and BABAR. Most notably, I will talk about the recent new observations in the decays B → ([rho]/[omega]) [gamma], a new analysis technique in b → s[gamma], and first measurements of radiative penguin decays in the B°{sub s} meson system. Finally, I will summarize the current status and future prospects of radiative penguin B physics at the B factories.

Book Description
The authors present a measurement of the branching fraction and time-dependent CP asymmetry of B° → [rho]°K°. The results are obtained from a data sample of 227 x 106 [Upsilon](4S) → B{bar B} decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. From a time-dependent maximum likelihood fit yielding 111 ± 19 signal events they find [Beta](B° → [rho]°K°) = (4.9 ± 0.8 ± 0.9) x 10−6, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic. They report the measurement of the CP parameters S{sub {rho}°K{sub S}°} = 0.20 ± 0.52 ± 0.24 and C{sub {rho}°K{sub S}°} = 0.64 ± 0.41 ± 0.20.

Book Description
The authors present improved measurements of the branching fraction and CP asymmetry for the process B{sup ±} → [rho]{sup ±}[pi]°. The data sample corresponding to 211 fb−1 comprises 232 million [Upsilon](4S) → B{bar B} decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B Factory at SLAC. The yield and CP asymmetry are measured using an extended maximum likelihood fitting method. The branching fraction and Cp asymmetry are found to be [Beta](B{sup ±} → [rho]{sup ±}[pi]°) = [10.2 {+-} 1.4(stat) {+-} 0.9(syst)] x 10−6 and [Alpha]{sub CP}(B{sup {+-}} → [rho]{sup {+-}}[pi]°) = -0.01 {+-} 0.13(stat) {+-} 0.02(syst).
