The purpose of the LHZ project is to assist foresters and land managers in pre-identifying unstable slopes. The approaches for regulating forest practices on unstable slopes developed by the authors have several elements. It may include a report, maps and data sheets with varying titles from project-to-project depending on the WAU (watershed administrative unit). Per the agency, as of Dec. 2012 the project has ceased. Because of this, the elements for each WAU may vary and are complete at this time.
