Se analiza, así, la disciplina de los principales remedios por incumplimiento, las condiciones y limitaciones para su ejercicio, sus efectos, las razones que conducen a la existencia de una regulación que privilegia el ejercicio de unos remedios por sobre el de otros, así como las lagunas que existen en dicha disciplina y la forma como las mismas pueden ser integradas en los instrumentos objeto de análisis. Todo lo anterior con el fin de esbozar algunas conclusiones acerca de la forma como se encuentra concebido el sistema de remedio por incumplimiento e la contratación internacional.
