Bearing the imprint of living personal experience, it thereby reflects the uniqueness of a given era, a given spiritual situation - and, in the end, becomes as new and unique as any specific human experience is new and unique. And, on the other hand, without this connection with living experience, i.e., recognized only as a traditional, inherited teaching, the content of faith fades and loses its living meaning.
