La Batterie d'Evaluation des Troubles Lexicaux (BETL) est un outil d'évaluation des troubles lexicaux dans les pathologies cérébrales acquises de l'adulte (aphasies ou atteintes neurodégénératives). Initiée par TRAN afin d'enrichir les outils existants, elle est issue du courant théorique de la neuropsychologie cognitive et a été élaborée dans le cadre de plusieurs mémoires d'orthophonie de Lille, depuis 2005. Elle comporte trois épreuves lexicales (dénomination, désignation et appariement sémantique d'images) composées de 54 mêmes items. Elle a été normalisée auprès de 369 sujets témoins (TRAN et GODEFROY, 2011). La validation a débuté en 2011 auprès de 15 sujets pathologiques (MCI et MA stade léger). Nous avons poursuivi celle-ci auprès de 16 patients MA de stade débutant en comparant quantitativement et qualitativement les résultats obtenus à la BETL à ceux du LEXIS (outil référent de structure comparable). En accord avec la littérature, les troubles lexicaux observés à la phase initiale de la MA sont hétérogènes ; ils peuvent affecter, de manière isolée ou conjointe, la production lexicale, la compréhension lexicale et le traitement sémantique.

Theorists are increasingly arguing that it is fruitful to approach anxiety from the cognitive perspective, and the empirical evidence supports that contention. The cognitive perspective is also adopted in this book, but the approach represents a development and extension of earlier ones. For example, most previous theories and research have been based on anxiety either in clinical or in normal groups. In contrast, one of the central themes of this book is that there are great advantages to be gained from a joint consideration of clinical and normal anxiety. Another theme of this book is that it is of major importance to establish whether or not there is a cognitive vulnerability factor which is associated with at least some forms of clinical anxiety. It is argued (with supporting evidence) that there is a latent cognitive vulnerability factor for generalized anxiety disorder which manifests itself under stressful conditions. This vulnerability factor is characterized by hypervigilance, and is found predominantly in normals high in the personality dimension of trait anxiety. The scope of the book extends to the effects of anxiety on performance and to the phenomenon of worry, which is regarded as the cognitive component of anxiety. In both cases, a new theoretical framework is presented. Thickening Fat: Fat Bodies, Intersectionality, and Social Justice seeks to explore the multiple, variable, and embodied experiences of fat oppression and fat activisms. Moving beyond an analysis of fat oppression as singular, this book will aim to unpack the volatility of fat—the mutability of fat embodiments as they correlate with other embodied subjectivities, and the threshold where fat begins to be reviled, celebrated, or amended. In addition, Thickening Fat explores the full range of intersectional and liminal analyses that push beyond the simple addition of two or more subjectivities, looking instead at the complex alchemy of layered and unstable markers of difference and privilege. Cognizant that the concept of intersectionality has been filled out in a plurality of ways, Thickening Fat poses critical questions around how to render analysis of fatness intersectional and to thicken up intersectionality, where intersectionality is attenuated to the shifting and composite and material dimensions to identity, rather than reduced to an “add difference and stir” approach. The chapters in this collection ask what happens when we operationalize intersectionality in fat scholarship and politics, and we position difference at the centre and start of inquiry.
