Book Description
Lal Kitab is not different from the ancient Vedic astrology as No single astrologer can match thousands of Saints who could formulate the Vedic astrology. Every concept developed thereafter has simplified the concept of Vedic astrology and delivered practically with time factor. In the Northern part of India, people are aware of 'Lal Kitab, ' originally written by Shri Girdhari Lal Sharma in Urdu and later translated into Hindi. In Vedic astrology Prashar system or otherwise, traditionally, sages, astrologers, and saints recommended elaborate rituals to counteract planetary effects. However, due to time and money constraints, Shri Girdhari Lal Sharma proposed simpler and more affordable remedies in the original Lal Kitab, which became popular. We should be clear that both ancient astrology and Lal Kitab are complementary to each other, not opposed. This book simplifies the concept of Lal Kitab and brings out the rituals or remedies which can be easily performed with little or no knowledge of astrology. Where the difference lies is that Lal Kitab does not consider the setting planet and retrograde planet while giving results nor does it consider the horoscope of Moon ascendant while giving results. Lal Kitab has considered the Ascendant as Aries and has given the results from whichever house the planets are placed in. I find this is the simplest form as so much precision of birth time is not required. Lal Kitab does not consider Dasha/Antardasha and just based the results of your year on the results and transiting planets. In ancient astrology predictions are based on navamsha Kundli, divisional charts, and Dasha/Antar Dasha. As per Lal Kitab, the same planet can give good or bad results depending upon its strength which depends upon if it is sitting in a friendly house and friendly signs or under the effect of enemies. Let us be clear that there is no match or ancient astrology and Lal Kitab is a simpler version with ready-made solutions. We do not cover Yogas, Dasha Antar Dasha, Moon or Sun Ascendant. I still remember the lesson from a very old and blind astrologer, when someone asked him when the rain would stop. He just asked the time and said that the rain would stop at this time. When I asked him how he could predict without detailed calculations, he simply mentioned that the Moon would change its Nakshatra at that time and that rain should stop. Maximum of time, these predictions turn out to be true. Lal Kitab has tried to simplify the concepts and remedies. If these are understood properly, it may help to more agreement by the people. These remedies can be performed without spending much of the money. If the scientific methods of this book are explained well then many people will start believing in it. That is why we have written it in a very simple manner and just as everything needs to change with time, the same has been done in Lal Kitab as well it is written in Lal Kitab that when you go near the cremation grounds, you should drop a rupee or two. Shiva is the destroyer and hence his idol is installed in the cremation ground. Copper money is Surya which is related to the soul and when the person drops the copper money inside the crematorium, Lord Shankar bestows divine power on him. Most of the remedies are written in Lal Kitab, which means that by adopting its rules, problems/sufferings and obstacles are removed. But the result is less applicable because only the factor has been taken and unless the formula for the entire result is considered, the entire result is not applicable. Read less
