El tema de la corrección de los textos escritos es una deuda en la formación de los docentes de Lengua y Literatura: parece una cuestión menor, supeditada a la evaluación, y dejada de lado hasta que la práctica cotidiana enfrenta a los profesores con esta realidad de su trabajo. En ese momento, las correcciones previas y las experiencias operan como modelo del actuar profesional. La investigación que aquí se presenta, inscripta en el interaccionismo socio-discursivo, procura conocer la complejidad de esta tarea docente desde las palabras y el hacer de los profesores. Corregir, como modo de intervención en diferentes niveles de los textos escritos por los alumnos, constituye una tarea que los docentes lamentan que no tenga efectos suficientes (en función de los esperados) en el desarrollo discursivo-textual de los estudiantes. Asumiendo que el sentido de las investigaciones en Didáctica de la Lengua es contribuir a la formación docente y generar tomas de conciencia que impliquen transformaciones en las prácticas, tematizar la cuestión de la corrección de los textos escritos en Lengua y Literatura y derivar de ella un objeto de reflexión sobre las prácticas docentes implica la posibilidad de concebir herramientas de intervención más eficaces para la enseñanza.
