Book Description
Just when you thought it was safe to pick up a pencil Killer Su Doku is based on the original Su Doku grid, with the same rules and numbers—1 to 9—but with an added deadly twist. This time there is an element of arithmetic involved and there are few, if any, clues. The aim is to not only complete every row, column, and cube so that it contains the digits 1 to 9, but to also fill in the outlined cubes so they add up to the same number. Hints to solve the puzzle are hidden in the joined squares where only one combination of numbers applies. In the case of joined squares, if the printed number is 3, it should be 1 and 2 that go into the squares. Likewise, in the case of three joined squares, if the printed number is 6, the only combination possible is 1, 2, and 3. To add one final fiendish level, each puzzle also has a time worked out by its Japanese creators so you can try to beat the clock.

Book Description
Welcome to this superb new selection of 100 killer sudoku puzzles, hand-picked for your solving pleasure! The rules of killer sudoku are very simple, and are outlined below: - Place each number from 1 - 9 exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 bold-lined box that comprise each grid - The grid also contains sets of cells inside dashed lines (called 'cages'). Each of these cages contains a number. This is the sum total of the cells inside the cage. Thus a '4' means that the cells in that cage sum to 4. A number cannot be repeated within a cage, so a cage comprised of two cells that must total '4' can only contain 3 and 1 in some order, not 2 and 2, because that would involve repeating a digit. A range of difficulties are included in this book, so you can start of with some easy killer sudoku, then move onto some moderate killer sudoku and finish off tackling some hard killer sudoku puzzles that are more challenging. There are a range of different techniques required to solve killer sudoku, so good luck and happy solving! Every puzzle has a single solution that can be found without guessing - logic will always help you find the solution. Solutions are at the back of the book so you can check if you are right, or if not, find where you went wrong. All of our books are printed on very high quality paper, making the puzzle experience all the more enjoyable. For other puzzle books and gift ideas, visit www.puzzle-book.co.uk
