Book Description
"I will always have great memories of Jack Campbell. The first song we ever recorded of his was titled Jesus.' It became the Rambos first number-one radio song. We enjoyed recording many others, such as Oh What a Happy Day' and March Around The Throne.' Jack was a great songwriter and a fine Christian gentleman." Buck Rambo Jack Campbell was the creator of the nation's number one southern gospel song for seven consecutive weeks in 2012: "I Know a Man Who Can," as recorded by Greater Vision. Jack was the seventh son in a poverty-stricken rural Swifton, Arkansas, family. His childhood years during the Depression Era were characterized by tragedy, isolation, poverty, and "Hand-Me-Downs." As an orphan, Jack thought he was in a suburb of Heaven when his brother, Bill, moved Jack and his own family to Gideon, in the bootheel of Missouri. Bill would pastor the Assembly of God Church while raising Jack as if he were his own son, rather than as his younger brother. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, gospel radio was filled with his music. Many of the industry's top artists, including the Rambos, the Inspirations, the Speer Family, the Kingsmen Quartet, and soloist, Governor Jimmie Davis, filled their albums with Jack Campbell's music. More recently, country legend George Jones recorded "I Know a Man Who Can." In his forty-plus years of traveling, he mentored over forty-five teens and young adults. His son, Chris, a great bass guitar player and songwriter, would go on to play for the Happy Goodman Family. A young Gene McDonald, the great bass singer of the Florida Boys (and the Gaithers), would spend time as a part of the Ambassadors, singing tenor. Gary O'Neal, The Absolutely Gospel Website

Book Description
It's not easy fitting in at a new school. It's even harder to be yourself. A warm and funny story about making new friends and being yourself. Perfect for young fans of WONDER and Frank Cottrell-Boyce. Jack knows LOTS about starting a new school. Since Dad left, he and his mum have moved house five times. He also knows all about fitting in. The trick is to act exactly like everyone else and make sure no one ever notices him. But it's hard work trying to be something he isn't and Jack doesn't have any good friends. That is, until Tyler comes along. Tyler is funny and different and might be the key to getting Jack to realise that although he is brilliant at pretending to be other people, the very best thing he can be is . . . JUST JACK.

Couldn't get enough of Love, Simon or Red, White and Royal Blue? This is the (slightly NSFW) book for you! 'Jack of Hearts might be the most important queer novel of the decade' Gay Times 'Jack of Hearts won my heart' Courtney Act 'This book is filth' Julian Clary --------------- 'My first time getting it in the butt was kind of weird. I think it's going to be weird for everyone's first time, though.' Meet Jack Rothman. He's seventeen and loves partying, makeup and boys - sometimes all at the same time. His sex life makes him the hot topic for the high school gossip machine. But who cares? Like Jack always says, 'it could be worse'. He doesn't actually expect that to come true. But after Jack starts writing an online sex advice column, the mysterious love letters he's been getting take a turn for the creepy. Jack's secret admirer knows everything: where he's hanging out, who he's sleeping with, who his mum is dating. They claim they love Jack, but not his unashamedly queer lifestyle. They want him to curb his sexuality, or they'll force him. As the pressure mounts, Jack must unmask his stalker before their obsession becomes genuinely dangerous... Praise for Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) 'The affirming, sex-positive, brilliant new book that puts the "adult" into young adult literature' Attitude 'Humane, sex-positive writing of the funniest, filthiest and most heartening kind' The Guardian
