Book Description
A second chance at love. Lainey Wise is coming home. Lainey hasn’t been back to her hometown of Mountain Valley since her mother’s death, and never had any desire to return. But now she’s working on a film for Mason Scott’s new production company and finds herself renting a cabin on location in order to finish the script. The first person she sees on arrival is her high school boyfriend, Logan Matthews. She knew coming home meant she’d have to reckon with her past, she just didn’t realize she’d have to do it so quickly. Logan Matthews has never forgotten his one true love. When Lainey walks into his furniture shop one January night in the midst of a winter storm, Logan can’t believe his eyes. Years ago, he’d given up dreaming she’d ever come back to him, and here she was. His initial disappointment at learning she’d returned for work and not him is easily quelled by the fact he’s got a month to win her back. Can they find a second chance at love? When Lainey and Logan get together, it’s like the years between them have vanished…until they start to talk. And when Logan brings over an expected bundle of her late mother’s journals, the long-buried secrets of Lainey’s past come bubbling to the surface. Has too much changed for Lainey and Logan to find their way back to each other? Book Description
Rudy Autio, one of the important figures in the contemporary clay movement beginning in the 1950s, discusses his early days growing up in a Finnish immigrant family in Butte, Montana, his time in the Navy at the end of WWII, the start of the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana, with Peter Voulkos, and his building methods of early murals using brickyard clay. Later he helped K Ross Toole, the new director of Montana Historical Society Museum in Helena, with a number of dioramas there in 1954, especially the Lewis and Clark diorama. He then was hired at University of Montana in Missoula to build a ceramics program by President McFarland. He discusses noteworthy students he learned from during his 28-year teaching career and various commissions he built during those years, like the Grizzly, the ceramic murals for Polson, Walla Walla, and Helena. In the 1970s workshops in ceramics demonstrations became popular, especially after the first SuperMud conference, and Rudy describes some of these. Later chapters explore his first trips to Finland, meeting relatives and artists alike. He discusses ways his work changed throughout his life.

WomanPrayer WomanSong
Author: Miriam Therese Winter
Publisher: Wipf and Stock Publishers
ISBN: 1725221993
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 258
Book Description
"WomanPrayer, WomanSong is a groundbreaking contribution to the church of our day. While drawing on scripture and affirming God's self-revelation in Jesus Christ, this exciting book addresses the urgent need for ritual which incorporates women's experience. Feminine biblical images of God are recovered; feminine pronouns for God are supplied; valiant women are remembered; the church year is reinterpreted to highlight women's experience; and oppression and violence against women in scripture and society are exposed. I have been searching for alternatives to hierarchical, coercive, male images of God which are at the same time faithful to the Christian revelation. I have found a rich resource here!" --Ruth Duck, Pastor, Professor of Worship, Garrett -Evangelical Theological Seminary "With Miriam Therese Winter's WomanPrayer, WomanSong, the feminist movement in the Christian community goes beyond the critique of patriarchal bias in religion and begins a new phase. Through a new religious encounter with the Mother-spirit of God, a new religious culture begins to develop that also renews the liberating grace and power of biblical faith. For the first time the church prays and sings the ancient story of creation and redemption through women's creative imagination." --Rosemary Ruether, author of Women-Church "By drawing on tradition to challenge tradition, this book models how a feminist hermeneutic can revitalize tradition. The preface, liturgies, and songs reveal a sophisticated theological mind blessed with the gift of poetic expression." --Thomas Troeger, Professor of Preaching and Parish Ministry and Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs, Iliff School of Theology

Mummy... I want to be a baby again! Vol 3
Author: Ben Pathen
Publisher: AB Discovery
ISBN:
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 158
Book Description
It is arguably the most common theme in ABDL fiction – becoming a baby again, perhaps forever and perhaps completely so. For many Adult Babies, the idea of being able to give into our wishes and desires completely and without restriction is a wonderful concept and one that grabs out attention. For the vast majority of adult babies, the expression of our inner infant is complicated by endless compromises and limits on what we can actually do. Our partners limit us. Our finances limit us. Social acceptance - and the lack thereof – limits us. Friends, employment, family and other issues limit us. But fiction can overcome all of these. In fiction, we can bend the rules of probability, break the bounds of social norms and erase the limits that otherwise keep us from expressing our inner infancy the way we wish. In these three books, you will read of adults that become complete babies once more. If they are not originally completely willing to become babies again, they quickly discover the joys, the peace and comfort of diapers, baby clothes, bottle feeds and baby toys. Infancy is entrancing to almost everyone, but for those special people – adult babies – infancy is only a diaper-change away and stories of grownups reverting to babyhood is less fiction, than an innate desire that we express on the pages of a book. Enjoy your stay in the world of refreshing infancy. The Three Novels are: Discharged into Infancy The Washing Line A Mother's Love

Love into Poetry Ii
Author: Celeste Nadine Gallucci
Publisher: Xlibris Corporation
ISBN: 1465317201
Category : Poetry
Languages : en
Pages : 226
Book Description
With much exuberant joy, I present the second volume of LOVE INTO POETRY, a book of many wonderful memories for me, of my very wonderful, dear Mother, the late Patty S. Gallucci. These poems are what God has inspired me to write for my own mother, for holidays and special occasions. ..I remember when I would write them, I just couldnt wait for the big day to come, to give them to her. Sometimes, I would even think of excuses to talk her into reading them before the special day they were designated for. I always had appropriate stickers to go with each individual poem, and Mother couldnt get over how adorably and beautifully the pages of poetry were decorated. When I asked Mother what she would like for me to title the group of poems I had written especially for her, instantaneously, she replied, LOVE INTO POETRY. So, LOVE INTO POETRY it is. Volume 1 of LOVE INTO POETRY consists of Mothers Day poems for Mothers and some for grandmothers and many more of various subjects. All of the poems in this book are selected ones that other mothers could possibly relate to, coming from their children. So..HAPPY READING, and I wish everyone, (especially Mothers), who reads this poetrylyrical poetic pleasure, beautiful inspiration, and Motherly enjoyment.
