The prospect of the Internet of Things as a ubiquitous array of devices bound to the Internet could fundamentally change how people think about what it means to be “online”. The ICIotCT 2019 conference provided a platform to discuss advances in Internet of Things (IoT) and connected technologies, such as various protocols and standards.
