Complete copies are most rare. Only 7 perfect copies known, and even fragments are seldom offered for sale. All the leaves here offered are in excellent condition, except for the repaired marginal tears, and are unusually large, measuring 15% x 11% inches. There are several words and marks against specially noted lines in a contemporary hand, written in margins. Moral Sentiments and Material Interests presents an innovative synthesis of research in different disciplines to argue that cooperation stems not from the stereotypical selfish agent acting out of disguised self-interest but from the presence of "strong reciprocators" in a social group.
