Book Description
The academic and scholarly interest in the subject of branding in both the consumer and industrial markets has grown substantially in the dynamic post-pandemic environment. The growth in research outputs by a handful of business scholars explains the impact of brand in an industrial business-to-business setting at the cognitive level only and has not considered its impact specifically on logistics and transportation despite the value it can offer. Considering these gaps in the periphery of our existing knowledge, this book explores corporate brand management within the logistics and transportation sector, from the perspective of image, reputation, and identity. This edited collection offers a blend of comprehensive and extensive high quality research from global, highly reputed contributors. It covers issues related to the establishment of brands, relevant niches such as service performance and social support, aviation and maritime industries, media relations, crisis branding, and innovation. Exploring a wide range of sectors within logistics and transport, the book illustrates the many dimensions of corporate branding and theories, future trends and developments, as well as proposing a model for future research. Containing a balance of theory and practice with effective case studies, Corporate Branding in Logistics and Transportation will appeal to marketing academics and upper-level graduates in particular. It will also be a valuable resource for those studying or researching logistics, supply chain management, and transport studies.

Book Description
The reflection on university management is based on the question about the shape of universities of the future. Civic, responsible, sustainable, virtual, digital, and many other universities can be mentioned among the concepts present in the literature. All these names describe an important distinctive feature of a university, which will gain more and more importance in the future. However, given the fundamental importance of the radical change taking place, it seems that the most appropriate name, reflecting the essence of the emerging new formation, is "digital university." This is because of the importance of digital transformation, which has been developing for several decades, bringing deep and multidirectional changes in the areas of technology, economy, society, and culture. It is a disruptive civilizational transition and, although stretched over many decades, it is revolutionary in nature, significantly changing our lives in the Anthropocene. The book has three cognitive and pragmatic objectives: to provide a new perspective on the changing academic organization and management; to reflect on higher education management concepts and methods; and to present an overview of university management, governance, and leadership, useful from the perspective of academic managers, and other stakeholders. Book Description
In this book Jan Kopia assesses the problems of the evaluation of integrated management systems. Current scientific research results and its practicality within organizations are presented. This includes aspects of organizational performance and its measurement comprising its shift from purely financially measured methods to multidimensional approaches. Practical solutions for the evaluation of management systems are suggested, which show the strategic relevance of management systems and its influence on process performance. The presented evaluation model offers an extended use of the balanced scorecard together with the strategic map-process, the execution premium and the plan-do-check-act-cycle of management systems providing an approach for scientists and practitioners to use and extend it.
