Medicine and Healing Practices in Ancient Egypt provides a new perspective on healthcare and healing treatments in Egypt from the Predynastic to the Roman periods. A brief comparison is drawn between this approach and those prevailing elsewhere in Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome.
