But just as expected when Norma comes home from the hospital after giving birth to Norman, her father rapes her again. As a result of this rape Norma is pregnant again. This has to stop, Norma thought. And it did. Norman grows up wanting to be left alone. He's quiet and soft spoken. Quite the opposite of his loud mouthed, demanding mother.
