Adhesives surround us in nature and in our daily lives. Adhesive, or glue, is a mixture in a liquid or semi liquid state that is capable of holding materials together by surface attachment. An adhesive is a compound that adheres or bonds two items together so as to form a single unit. Adhesives may come from either natural or synthetic sources.
