Book Description
“Whimsical, witty, and brimming over with charm” (India Holton), Olivia Atwater’s delightful debut will transport you to a magical version of Regency England, where the only thing more meddlesome than a fairy is a marriage-minded mother! It’s difficult to find a husband in Regency England when you’re a young lady with only half a soul. Ever since she was cursed by a faerie, Theodora Ettings has had no sense of fear or embarrassment—an unfortunate condition that leaves her prone to accidental scandal. Dora hopes to be a quiet, sensible wallflower during the London Season—but when Elias Wilder, the strange, handsome, and utterly ill-mannered Lord Sorcier, discovers her condition, she is instead drawn into peculiar and dangerous faerie affairs. If her reputation can survive both her curse and her sudden connection with the least-liked man in all high society, then she and her family may yet reclaim their normal place in the world. But the longer Dora spends with Elias, the more she begins to suspect that one may indeed fall in love even with only half a soul. Praise for Half a Soul “Whimsical but never frivolous, sweet but not sugary. I loved it.” —Alix E. Harrow “Delightful. Half a Soul is the definition of a comfort read.” —Hannah Whitten “I wolfed this down with great pleasure.” —KJ Charles “This winsome, whimsical fantasy romance sweeps you off your feet.” —Megan Bannen “Smart and subversive, Half a Soul will ignite your heart—and your hope.” —Shelley Parker-Chan “A perfect historical fantasy romance: warm, sparkling with magic, dangerous, and delightful.” —Tasha Suri

With the infuriatingly arrogant Mage Lord pressuring me to join his team and a dark movement in the magical underworld threatening to ignite a war between the half-faeries and other supernaturals, I have my work cut out. Especially when a serum that’s deadly to half-faeries finds its way onto the market, luring in its victims with the promise of immortality. Navigating my way between half-faeries who want my head on a platter and the Mage Lord who wants, well, me, is tricky enough. But then I learn something about my own magic that changes the playing field. If I don’t come out on top, a second faerie apocalypse is on the horizon. Book 2 in the Changeling Chronicles urban fantasy series. Book Description
Just days before her eighteenth birthday, Lila has resolved to end her life. The horror of becoming an adult, and leaving her childhood behind, has broken her heart. Faerie, a novel for young people, is the fierce yet gently unfolding story of a hyper- imaginative girl who is on a collision course to womanhood. She likens herself to a half-human fairy creature who does not belong in the earthly world; but in the cold light of day she is a psychiatric patient at a hospital, where she is being treated for anorexia - her sickness driven by the irrational need to undo nature and thwart the passage of time. Lila tells the story of how she ended up on the Four East wing: we flash back to her childhood in the eighties, growing up in a small town as the overweight brown kid of Punjabi immigrant parents: her father, a literary scholar whom she idolizes, and her mother, a housewife - "the most female of all females who found comfort in cooking." Faerie weaves these passages with Lila's downward spiral into life-threatening illness, her budding sexuality, and her complicated recovery in hospital that comes with a price. Written with candor and heartbreaking lyricism, Faerie is a plaintive yet ultimately life-affirming love letter to the bold, flawed splendor that is childhood. Eisha Marjara has written and directed several award-winning films, including the critically acclaimed NFB docudrama Desperately Seeking Helen. Her latest, House for Sale, has won numerous film festival awards. Faerie is her first novel. She lives in Montreal, Quebec.

Book Description
The Revelation of St. John is, according to some writers, the most difficult book to understand in the entire Bible. It uses symbols in most chapters to stand for real things It is difficult to distinguish between what is meant to be symbolic and what is literal. This difficulty is compounded in much of the book because symbolic language is clearly mixed with language that can only be literal. Thus the book appears to be an enigma wrapped in a riddle. The book is the only major example of NT apocalyptic writing. It appears to be so complex most Christians find it impossible to understand. As a result of its complexity, apparently few read it. That obtains despite the blessing pronounced on the reader in 1:3 for those who read it. Some writers have said the book was never intended to be understood because there is no apparent pattern to the prophecy. They maintain that it will never be understood this side of eternity. That idea flies in the face of common sense. If God had not intended men to understand the prophecy in the book, it would surely seem a waste to cause it to be written. There may, however, be certain things in the book that will not be completely understood in this life. That situation, according to other writers, is intended to show the Divine origin of the book. There can be little doubt the book has in it the very mind of the Almighty. Because of that, it appears to demand Divine inspiration in order to understand its total meaning. Thus the correct interpretation of the total prophecy may be revealed to men when the time is right; probably very near the end of human history on earth. The meaning of the prophecy in the book of Daniel was "sealed" or "shut up" (concealed) so that no one could completely understand it. That prophecy, according to Dan. 12:4 & 9, would be concealed until the arrival of the second (and last) "time of the end." That may be the short time period of several decades just before the end of human history when the full meaning of the Revelation also will be revealed to the followers of Christ. That is true even though the Revelation has not been "shut up" or "concealed" for many long centuries. That the book has not been "shut up" or concealed is stated emphatically in the book. Although the meaning of the prophecy of Revelation has not been concealed, many writers say the book is far more complex and much more difficult to understand than the prophecy of Daniel. Many hundreds (if not thousands) of commentaries have been written, over the centuries, in efforts to explain the prophecy. Many outlines also have been constructed in efforts to make the book more understandable. The meaning of the prophecy of the 7 letters apparently is fairly well understood. But the majority of the remainder of the prophecy appears to be less well understood. No commentary written to date fully explains the total prophecy in a biblically correct and intelligent manner. It is as if the complete meaning eludes the human intellect. Thus despite the "unsealed" nature of the prophecy, much of the book still appears to be beyond the comprehension of most laymen as well as bible scholars. The present study is a calculated attempt to give the reader a full understanding of the total prophecy. If one understands the prophecy of Daniel, the book of Revelation is not difficult to understand. The reader should first read the book "The Time of the End in the Book of Daniel" by the present writer. That book "unseals" or reveals the true meaning of Daniel's prophecy for the first time in the history of the study of Daniel.. If Daniel is fully understood, both the Revelation AND the Olivet Discourse are

Book Description
I’m Ivy Lane, and if I never see another faerie again, it’ll be too soon. Twenty years after the faeries came and destroyed the world as we knew it, I use my specialist skills to keep rogue faeries in line and ensure humans and their magically gifted neighbours can coexist (relatively) peacefully. Nobody knows those skills came from the darkest corner of Faerie itself. When a human child disappears, replaced with a faerie changeling, I have to choose between taking the safe road or exposing my own history with the faeries to the seductively dangerous head of the Mage Lords. He’s the exact kind of distraction I don’t need, but it’s work with him or lose my chance to save the victims. It’ll take all my skills to catch the kidnappers and stop Faerie’s dark denizens overrunning the city — but if the faerie lords find out about the magic I stole last time I went into their realm, running won’t save me this time… Faerie Blood is the first book in the Changeling Chronicles urban fantasy series. If you love twisty plots, fast-paced action, and magical found family, you won’t want to miss this epic urban fantasy series for fans of Hailey Edwards, Heather G. Harris, and Lindsay Buroker.
