The Habitat Activity Work Group (HAWG) was established by the Fraser River Estuary Management Program (FREMP) management committee executive to address estuary-wide activities related to habitat management in the FREMP area of the Fraser River estuary. This report gives an overview of habitat related activities as identified in the objectives/tasks of the FREMP implementation strategy. The synopsis provides an overview of institutional means such as legislation, policies, and guidelines that enables participants to work toward objectives and lists results and achievements toward those objectives.
