Mozart arrives in Heaven within the month and interviews with God to become His dog. Mozart's humor and total candor win God over and God asks Mozart if he would like to be His dog. Mozart asks that it be a package deal and that his younger brother, Elvis, who had died suddenly only a few days before Mozart, be allowed to stay as well. God says that Elvis can be Saint Peter's dog and help guard the Pearly Gates. Mozart and Elvis spendtheir time exploring Heaven, talking withsaints, visiting God's Comedy Club, and searching for their roots and heroes. The best conversations are betwen God and Mozart, in which Mozart never runs out of questions and topics to discuss with God. Mozart and Elvis decide Heaven is really a wonderful place, but could be a little more dachshund friendly. Together they come up with the firstsuggestion list that God has ever received. Book Description
Are you yearning for a closer, more dynamic relationship with God? A relationship that is more alive and exciting than any you have ever experienced in your life but think that you're not "good enough"? Well, guess what? God is yearning for the exact same type of relationship with each one of us, regardless of how "unworthy" we may think we are. God is not distant, impersonal, or uncaring but longs for us to know Him at a real intimate, personal level. As you'll read, God is as close to you as those things that you hold dearest to your heart. And because He knows us better than we know ourselves, He knows exactly how to initiate that relationship with us. Experiencing God's Word One Dog at a Time is a lighthearted, self-deprecating look at how God personally applies the relevance of His word in the real-life experiences of one struggling, backsliding Christian. Using those things that are closest to the author's heart (pet dogs), God shows His concern over everything in our life and proves His character as revealed in scripture through what can only be called miracles. In doing so, He displays His awesome power and control and His desire to be an active participant in all aspects of our life.

Book Description
Man’s best friend, domesticated since prehistoric times, a travelling companion for explorers and artists, thinkers and walkers, equally happy curled up by the fire and bounding through the great outdoors—dogs matter to us because we love them. But is that all there is to the canine’s good-natured voracity and affectionate dependency? Mark Alizart dispenses with the well-worn clichés concerning dogs and their masters, seeing them not as submissive pets but rather as unexpected life coaches, ready to teach us the elusive recipes for contentment and joy. Dogs have faced their fate in life with a certain detachment that is not easy to understand. Unlike other animals in a similar situation, they have not become hardened, nor have they let themselves die a little inside. On the contrary, they seem to have softened. This book is devoted to understanding this miracle, the miracle of the joy of dogs – to understanding it and, if at all possible, to learning how it’s done. Weaving elegantly and eruditely between historical myth and pop-culture anecdote, between the peculiar views of philosophers and the even more bizarre findings of science, Alizart offers us a surprising new portrait of the dog as thinker—a thinker who may perhaps know the true secret of our humanity.
