Descendants of Thomas Huxley, who died 1721 at Suffield, Massachusetts. He was one of the original settlers of Hartford colony. He married Sarah Spencer 1667 in Hartford, Connecticut. She was born in 1647 to sergeant Thomas Spencer and Sarah Bearding, who were also original settlers of Hartford in 1636. The Huxleys and Spencers were originally from England. Descendants live in Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Iowa, Massachusetts and elsewhere.
