For the most part they have been placed in school libraries which are operated in connection with city school systems or state universities. State university libraries, as a rule through extension divisions, serve the small school systems of their respective states. In this manner these films have reached hundreds of local schools throughout the nation. Smaller school systems with limited libraries have availed themselves of the shorter term licensing of two weeks or a semester.
