Praying God’s Will for Your Life is not a book about finding the right person to marry or deciding on a career. It is a book about a way of life and a heart attitude that are God’s will for everyone who knows Him. That way of life encompasses three important components: An intimate relationship with God A solid foundation in God’s truth A commitment to obedience As she has in previous bestselling books—The Power of a Praying Wife and The Power of a Praying Parent—Stormie invites you to discover the power of prayer, this time encouraging you to pray for yourself as you deepen your walk with God. Accept her challenge to pray for yourself in these areas every day for twenty days, and watch how God changes your life as you move into the center of His will. As you experience the power of God's will in your daily faith journey, take advantage of the bonus Prayer Journal, which offers Stormie's own words of encouragement and plenty of space for reflection and listing prayer requests and answered prayers.

Book Description
A Pattern of Prayer is a guide to prayer based on the daily, weekly, and occasional prayers of an intentional, ecumenical, Christian community called Grace and Main Fellowship in Danville, Virginia. It's designed to cultivate a rhythm to the life of prayer either in groups or by individuals. Providing a structure for morning, midday, evening, and night prayer, it is an excellent devotional aid that also allows the reader, or readers, to pray along with others wherever they may be. Also included are some of the prayers and blessings used in the work of the community, as well as the community's "identity statements" or "little rule." To make use of the prayerbook, all you'll need, in addition to the book, is a Bible.

Book Description
After nearly four decades of ministry, Andrew Wommack has discovered some important truths about prayer. His prayer life is much different than it was thirty years ago and the results have dramatically improved! You may be asking many of the same questions Andrew once did. Is prayer my Christian duty? Is prayer primarily about asking God to meet my needs and the needs of others? Is God's answer to my prayer based on the degree of my humility and sincerity? Is answered prayer a sovereign decision of God or do I have the ability to influence Him? Clear, scriptural answers to these questions and more could significantly change the way you pray. These principles may not be the only way to pray, but if you're not getting the results you desire, consider changing directions; maybe there is A Better Way to Pray.

Book Description
Prayers that strike the mark are specific prayers authorized by the Holy Spirit and endowed with divine power to accomplish the will of God in your life and for the needs of the world. On the cross, Jesus fulfilled the ultimate answer to all of our prayers, but He awaits our invitation to come into our situations and circumstances. When people of prayer intercede, they create a meeting place between the heavenly Father and His children. God comes upon the person who is praying and moves them from the natural to the supernatural. Empowered by God, the intercessor has the authority to cut down enemy forces and pick out "targets" for God’s lightning bolts of glory, bringing victory and breakthrough. Intercession could be called "extreme prayer” because it links extreme needs with the extraordinary power of God. Inserting ourselves into the gap between God and a need, we call upon the Holy Spirit, our Helper, who is ready to move us from finite ability to infinite ability, take hold of difficult situations, and help accomplish the will of God. We have the great honor of being called to “paint targets” on cities, churches, ministries, family members, contemporary "Sauls" (those who persecute or cause difficulty), and even ourselves. Our believing, persistent prayers will Strike the Mark! “He covers His hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark” (Job 36:32 NASB).

Book Description
God presents Himself in the Bible as being open and interested in hearing whatever concerns His children (James 5:13; 1 Pet. 5:7). He wants to hear whatever interests us, even the smallest, most insignificant details of our lives. Consequently, we should feel free to unburden our hearts and tell God anything and everything. He is, after all, the friend who sticks closer than a brother. Why do we not feel at liberty to converse with Him just as casually and comfortably as we would with our most intimate acquaintance? To address this important phenomenon of talking to God, I felt the leading of the Lord to confront the matter of getting answers to our prayers. Unless you are a Pharisee standing in the marketplace, no one prays just to hear himself praying or to receive glory from man. No one prays not to receive a response. No one asks, not expecting to receive. Rather, prayers are prayed to be acknowledged and answered. Especially prayers without ceasing are made for responses, acknowledgment, and answers, without ceasing. Time and maturity have taught me that to pray without ceasing basically refers to recurring prayer, not nonstop talking. Thus, it is to be our way of life, as we should be continually in an attitude of prayer.
