Cette étude a pour objectif d’analyser l’avis et le vécu qu’ont les femmes de cet entretien prénatal précoce. Elle permet donc de ressortir les bénéfices qu’elles ont pu en tirer afin de le promouvoir auprès des professionnels de santé ayant la même compétence à le réaliser dans le suivi de grossesse et notamment les médecins généralistes étant en première ligne. Il s’agit d’une étude qualitative par entretiens semi-dirigés réalisée auprès de 24 femmes ayant bénéficié de l’entretien prénatal précoce dans le département de l’Aube. L’analyse des résultats confirme la satisfaction des femmes avec un entretien permettant une aide personnalisée dans le suivi de grossesse, dans la communication et au niveau psychologique. En effet, il permet une prise en compte de la femme dans sa globalité, un meilleur accompagnement, une sécurité aussi bien physique qu’émotionnelle, une meilleure préparation, une orientation adaptée aux besoins de chaque femme et un temps de dialogue de qualité pour une écoute nouvelle, une transmission d’informations adaptées à chaque femme, un temps de conseils, tout en créant un climat de confiance. On note cependant des efforts à fournir concernant surtout l’information de l’existence de cet entretien manquante à ce jour, pour ainsi qu’il soit réalisé davantage.

They are qualified, experienced, motivated, academically accomplished. They work tirelessly, collecting invaluable data in the field under conditions that are always challenging, and at times dangerous. And yet, their voices are unheard, and their names go unacknowledged in published research.
