Malgré la popularisation de l'écriture au clavier, il existe peu d'études permettant de caractériser ce mode de production du langage, contrairement aux nombreux modèles qui ont été développés pour rendre compte du langage oral et de l'écriture manuscrite. Alors que l'orthophoniste inclut dans ses spécialités la prise en charge des troubles du langage écrit et que la plupart des patients écrivent régulièrement sur ordinateur, tablette et téléphone, l'utilisation du clavier en orthophonie est assez peu développée, que ce soit pour le diagnostic ou la rééducation. Nous avons donc élaboré un test permettant de caractériser les performances au clavier d'enfants scolarisés entre le CM1 et la 3ème. Les données acquises par une expérimentation en ligne permettent de mettre en évidence une progression majeure au moment du passage au collège, ainsi qu'une réduction de l'hétérogénéité inter-individuelle avec l'âge dans l'ensemble des tâches. On remarque que les enfants commettent peu d'erreurs en écriture d'alphabet et en copie de phrases. Les caractéristiques linguistiques des mots (longueur, régularité) ne semblent pas affecter la vitesse d'écriture des participants. En revanche, pour toutes les classes, il semble que l'écriture des mots fréquents est initiée plus rapidement que celle des mots rares. Contrairement à ce qui a été observé chez les adultes, la proportion de changement de main estimée pour taper un mot (lettres situées à droite et à gauche du clavier alternativement) diminue la vitesse de frappe des enfants du primaire. Par la suite, il serait intéressant d'accès à un échantillon plus grand afin de confirmer ces tendances et de lier les écarts de performances à des facteurs propres aux individus.

Ayant constaté lors de différents stages que les enfants semblaient mieux réussir lorsqu'ils travaillaient à l'ordinateur, nous avons voulu tenter de savoir si ce fait était avéré ou s'il n'était dû qu'à l'outil lui-même. Après l'exposé des bases théoriques relatives aux troubles d'acquisition du langage écrit et leur relation à la dyslexie, nous rendons compte d'une enquête effectuée auprès des orthophonistes de Côte d'Or concernant l'utilisation de l'outil informatique en libéral. Nous avons ensuite réuni deux groupes d'enfants, l'un composé d'enfants normo-lecteurs, notre groupe témoin, et l'autre d'enfants porteurs de troubles d'acquisition du langage écrit, notre groupe test. Nous avons proposé une évaluation B. E. L. E. C. assimilable à un outil de rééducation traditionnel, et une évaluation par ordinateur au groupe témoin en novembre 2001. A cette période, les enfants du groupe test ont passé ces mêmes évaluations puis nous leur en avons proposé deux autres, l'une trois mois après la première et l'autre trois mois après la deuxième toujours à partir de B. E. L. E. C. et des évaluations par ordinateur en évitant les situations de re-test. A l'issue de ces trois évaluations, nous avons alors tenté de nous rendre compte si les performances constatées à l'ordinateur existaient en support traditionnel ou si elles n'étaient que le fait de l'outil informatique lui-même.

"Health 2020 is the new health policy framework of the WHO European Region. The policy aims at significantly improving the health and well-being of populations, reducing health inequalities, strengthening public health and ensuring sustainable people-centred health systems.
