Excerpt from Essays on the Millennium On the much contested point, whether the dispensation of millennial blessedness imply merely an increased outpouring of the Spirit, or whether, in addition to that, it imply also the personal reign of Christ and of his saints, I would venture a few Observations; speaking, however, as one who is rather an inquirer than a decided advocate of either system.
