Book Description
Clarence Larkin was a famous Baptist pastor during the late 1800s and early 1900s. As a Bible teacher and author, he is mostly known for his works on Dispensationalism, which considers biblical history, as well as the future of all creation and mankind's role on earth, as divided into "ages." (Within this context, "ages" are specific periods of time that God has set in motion that will ultimately reach their climatic end at the Great White Throne judgment-the moment when God will judge everybody that has ever lived according to their works, followed by their destiny in Heaven or Hell.) Larkin's books, charts, and wood cuts greatly influenced Protestant conservatives in early America as well as Church evangelism throughout the twentieth century.Larkin was born in 1850 and became a Christian at the age of nineteen. He later joined the Episcopal Church but eventually left that denomination to become a Baptist pastor. He espoused many ideas from premillennialist theology, which was rapidly growing in popularity among early evangelicals at the time, drawn from major prophetic concepts shared by C.I. Scofield, William Eugene Blackstone, and John Nelson Darby. Larkin created original, detailed, prophetical wall charts to use while teaching his convictions around these ideas from the pulpit. This unique approach quickly became so popular that articles based on his teachings were published in the Sunday School Times, and soon, invitations for him to explain his ideas involving eschatology-the future and end-times prophecy-began coming in from across America and around the world.Starting in 1918, he published his first masterpiece, Dispensational Truth (or God's Plan and Purpose in the Ages), but high demand for his works quickly resulted in the additional titles, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth and The Book of Daniel. The brilliance of these books now constitute this first-ever single volume: DISPENSATIONS: The Clarence Larking Collection.

Book Description
PAUL'S exhortation to the younger preacher, Timothy, has come home to many with great power in recent years. As a result, there has been a return to more ancient methods of Bible study, which had been largely neglected during the centuries of the Church's drift from apostolic testimony. Augustine's words have had a re-affirmation: "Distinguish the ages, and the Scriptures are plain." And so there has been great emphasis put in many quarters, and rightly so, upon the study of what is commonly known as "dispensational" truth.

Book Description
The threadbare argument that dispensational teaching is "new" has been the propaganda of anti-dispensationalists for decades, and many actually believe it. In this fascinating journey through the early Christian writings, James C. Morris demonstrates that dispensational teaching is as old as the church itself. Many attempt to discredit dispensationalism by claiming that the church never taught it before around 1830. Such a claim is ridiculous, for proof that any particular idea was never taught in any particular time period would require an exhaustive examination of every teaching that took place during that period. Even for a relatively short period of time, such an exhaustive search is manifestly impossible, much less for nearly eighteen centuries. But this claim involves a serious falsehood. This is that the accuracy or error of a doctrine can be determined on the basis of how long men have taught it. We have no right to base our ideas on anything other than the word of God itself. Anything less that this is a false foundation. The purpose of the present study is to examine numerous instances of dispensational doctrine that were clearly taught in some of the very oldest Christian writings on Bible prophecy that have survived to the present day, as well as in numerous other truly ancient Christian writings.

Book Description
John Nelson Darby is best known as the architect of the most influential system of end-times thinking among the world's half-a-billion evangelicals. This book re-examines Darby's thought and argues that claims that Darby is the father of dispensationalism may need to be revised.

Book Description
This book has one goal in mind, to try and bring greater understanding between two dedicated groups of Christians. Dispensationalists and Reformed Christians have a very different understanding of how God has worked in this world as well as how God will continue to work. There is a theological divide that has developed after many years of discussion and stems from a mixture of ignorance; misunderstanding and actual disagreement. Robert McKenzie seeks to examine what each side believes, fleshing out the differences and misunderstandings. He takes a look at the history of each system as well as their theological developments. The author seeks to be faithful to each system pointing out their strengths and weaknesses all the while citing the Scriptures that are used to support each side's belief. It is hoped that with greater understanding the two groups will be able to engage in conversation with a clearer view of why a doctrine is believed and how the different doctrines build into the system. Whether you are a Dispensationalist, believe in Covenant theology or you aren't quite sure if you fall in either camp this book can be tremendously helpful.
