Is God disappointed in me? Am I doing enough? Why is it so hard to produce the fruit of the Spirit? If producing spiritual fruit has ever felt like toil, this study will help you discover the way Jesus meant for fruit to grow. No matter where you are on your journey to bearing fruit, this 13-lesson scripture study will lead you into an even more fruitful life. New believers, as well as those who have been in the church for decades, can both find greater victory in the areas of bearing fruit and abiding in Jesus. Some of the most common themes in Jesus’ parables are planting, sowing, and harvesting. In Effortless Fruitfulness, the author examines many of those parables and stories from the New Testament, along with examples from her own life, to reveal practical steps and raise thought-provoking questions that will help you step out of striving and into supernatural growth. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NIV ..... This is a thirteen-session individual or small group study and workbook that examines Jesus' parables and teachings in the Gospels about bearing fruit, abiding in the vine, sowing and reaping, harvesting, and other agricultural metaphors and reveals how many Christians have been trying to gain victory in these areas by self-effort without realizing it. Be ready to be set free and equipped for greater fruitfulness! The paperback version of this book is both a bible study and a workbook. The eBook version has all the same content, but lacks the workbook layout and space to answer the questions. It is recommended that you have a separate journal on hand for writing your answers to the questions when reading the eBook version. Perfect for a Bible study, small group, or for individual study or quiet time to foster spiritual and personal growth.

Book Description
An ideal marriage is the ultimate desire of every grown adult of marriageable age, but unfortunately and against the will God, the activities of older folks in the field have painted a scary picture of the sacred institution, making an ideal marriage appear unachievable to the younger generation. This to me is an anomaly. Considering the fact that marriage is the first agent of socialization to a child, humanity owes it a duty to the younger generation to preserve the tenets of the institution based on old values handed down by God. The endemic crisis witnessed today in the institution escalated because of limited knowledge of values, inadequate culture of communication and poor handling of myths and fact of the institution. These factors among others are regrettably responsible for the embarrassing rate of divorces witnessed globally. The religious bodies have no doubt been contributing through workshops and seminars in solving the problem, but the conflict in their doctrines and restrictions does not give them the needed free hand to address the problem considering the dynamism that characterize life at that stage, so the problem has continued unabated. Quest for Ideal Marriage is written without unnecessary doctrinal restrictions to unveil those avoidable human mistakes which the young people especially, make in their quest for an ideal marriage. With recourse and sincerity, an Ideal Marriage is of course attainable by anybody who will discipline his/herself and follow the rules as handed down in this book. The difference between successful and unsuccessful marriage is simply distractions. If people have made their marriage work, you too can make yours work. All you need is to acquire the relevant information as contained herein and intelligently follow the rules in its application, and you will contract and enjoy a successful marriage. That is a promise. It is not a magic, Zig Ziglar once said “Just any dummy can succeed, if he cares to know what it takes”, in this book, you have it

The Creator's Three Dimensional Strategic Plan And Purpose For Humanity. The author of this book is very excited to share his joy of a life-changing discovery he made with everyone who will pick up this book. He is glad to tell everyone that the seal has been broken off from what Jesus said in Luke 13: 32. And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. This is the conclusion of the matter: There is a first day Church that enjoys the Lord's presence and a second day Church that knows His burden removing yoke destroying power that does great exploits in this world. However, there is a 3RD DAY CHURCH that walks in the weight of His glory and splendour that is well able to bring order and decency, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost in a crazy world. This is the Church that walks in His perfect will, whose desire has become His desire; therefore, the whole universe is cooperating with this dynamic church. This is the Church that will bring about a sudden shift in the affairs of humanity. This is that GIANT that everyone was talking about She is the glorious Church that has been made ready to do kingdom business and to occupy all influential places in this world until He comes back again. It is not a Church that is passively waiting for His coming! And He (Jesus) called His ten servants (3rd Day Church well equipped Servants), and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy (make business) until I come (Luke 19:13). We have received a Kingdom that cannot be shaken by anything bad that is happening in this world. This Kingdom is eagerly waiting for the saints to possess it. It is an unseen reality, just like Goshen has been to Israelites, which was and is a place where there is nothing missing and nothing broken. It is the will of God that we should all enjoy a Kingdom of God reality on earth in the here and now! His abundant life is for the NOW and the life to come. All thirty-two of the original volumes are included in this one volume. There are two linked indexes in this volume, a main index at the front of this volume that will take you to the beginning each of the books of the bible and another index at the beginning of each book there is a linked scripture index leading to the particular subject. MacLaren’s Expositions of Holy Scripture is considered one of the greatest expositor’s commentary of all time. This commentary has more than 1,500 sermons arranged in canonical order with more than 46,000 scriptural references, making this collection one of the fullest expositor’s commentary ever. For his work MacLaren drew praise from many. A. T. Robertson Said of MacLaren “His matchless discourses are the fruit of the most exact scholarship and spiritual enthusiasm.” F. B. Meyer said “As an expository preacher none of them equaled MacLaren of Manchester, and no other sermons were so widely read the world around.” MacLaren was born in Glasgow on February 11, 1826, and died in Manchester on May 5, 1910. He had been for almost sixty-five years a minister, entirely devoted to his calling. He lived more than almost any of the great preachers of his time between his study, his pulpit, his pen. His ministry fell into a quiet routine for which he was always grateful: two sermons on Sunday, a Monday prayer meeting and a Thursday service and lecture. His parishioners thought his sermons to them were the best he ever preached. In April 1858 he was called to be minister at Union Chapel in Manchester. No ministry could have been happier. The church prospered and a new building had to be erected to seat 1,500; every sitting was taken. His renown as preacher spread throughout the English-speaking world. His pulpit became his throne. He was twice elected President of the Baptist Union. He resigned as pastor in 1905 after a ministry of forty-five years. MacLaren’s religious life was hid with Christ in God. He walked with God day by day. He loved Jesus Christ with a reverent, holy love and lived to make Him known. In his farewell sermon at Union he said: "To efface oneself is one of a preacher’s first duties."

Book Description
Gardens are sites that can be at one and the same time admired works of art and valuable pieces of real estate. As the first account in English to be wholly based on contemporary Chinese sources, this beautifully illustrated book grounds the practices of garden-making in Ming Dynasty China (1369–1644) firmly in the social and cultural history of the day. Who owned gardens? Who visited them? How were they represented in words, in paintings and in visual culture generally, and what meanings did these representations hold at different levels of Chinese society? Drawing on a wide range of recent work in cultural theory, Craig Clunas provides for the first time a historical and materialist account of Chinese garden culture, and replaces broad generalizations and orientalist fantasy with a convincing picture of the garden's role in social life.

Book Description
Working from a cultural studies perspective, author D. K. Smith here examines a broad range of medieval and Renaissance maps and literary texts to explore the effects of geography on Tudor-Stuart cultural perceptions. He argues that the literary representation of cartographically-related material from the late fifteenth to the early seventeenth century demonstrates a new strain, not just of geographical understanding, but of cartographic manipulation, which he terms, "the cartographic imagination." Rather than considering the effects of maps themselves on early modern epistemologies, Smith considers the effects of the activity of mapping-the new techniques, the new expectations of accuracy and precision which developed in the sixteenth century-on the ways people thought and wrote. Looking at works by Spenser, Marlowe, Raleigh, and Marvell among other authors, he analyzes how the growing ability to represent physical space accurately brought with it not just a wealth of new maps, but a new array of rhetorical techniques, metaphors, and associations which allowed the manipulation of texts and ideas in ways never before possible.

Book Description
What can explain the persistence of gender inequality throughout history? Do narratives such as the Eden story explain that dissymmetry or contribute to it? This book suggests that the Hebrew Bible began and has sustained a rich conversation about sex and gender throughout its life. A literary study of the Garden of Eden story reveals a focus on the human partnership as integral to the divine creation project. Texts from other Hebrew Bible genres build a picture of robust and flexible partnerships within a patriarchal framework. In popular culture, Eve still carries the stench of guilt while Adam, seemingly unscathed by Eden events, remains a positive symbol of manhood. This book helps explain why they have had such different histories. The book also charts the subversive alternate streams of interpretation of women's writings and rabbinic texts. The story of Adam and Eve demonstrates how conceptions of gender in both ancient and modern worlds reflect larger philosophical schemes. Far from existing as timeless verities, female and male relations are constructed according to cultural imperatives of the day. Understanding the different ways that Adam and Eve have been conceived gives us perspective on our own twenty-first century gender architecture.
