Who's it for? Intermediate and advanced classes of English (16+) as a foreign or second language (EFL, ESL), in any part of the world. How does it work? Students discuss questions, which are either in the form of a fun / factual quiz, or related to an authentic text / quotation. What's new? In around 90% of the exercises, no preparation is required. Students simply turn to the right page, and away they go. Details are outlined in the Teachers Introduction and the Students Introduction. What's the duration of a typical exercise? Depending on the students' level of interest, some exercises can be used as 10-minute warm ups or lesson fillers, others may develop into full-blown 60-minute discussions.
