Book Description
The microporous aluminosilicate minerals known as Zeolites are invaluable as adsorbents, molecular sieves and catalysts because they possess a porous structure that can let pass or accommodate cations such as, Ca2+, K+, Mg2+, Na+, etc. These are nevertheless loosely held and can be easily exchanged for those in an adjacent solution. Movement of other materials through Zeolites is naturally an important factor. The present compilation consists of diffusion data. These represent, as far as possible, pure diffusion, shorn of other transfer mechanisms such as permeation. Most of the results involve well-known artificially produced Zeolites, but also include information on naturally occurring Zeolites such as analcime and clinoptilolite. The 290 entries, 22 figures and 67 tables cover the period from 1961 to 2014.

Keyword: diffusion, Zeolites Fisher presents this dense and largely unelaborated data compilation on diffusion and conduction in zeolites. Data is organized according to the type of zeolite in alphabetical order, from 4A to ZSM-58. Diffusion of a variety of solvents, gases, and ions and conduction of ions in various zeolites are discussed in a continuous sequence of numbered paragraphs, with each paragraph summarizing the methods and results of a single study followed by a full citation. Tables and figures of relevant results are included, and the book has three separate indices by author, material, and keyword. -- Inorganic chemistry-- Materials science -- Inorganic materials-- Minerals-- Physical chemistry -- Surfaces.

Book Description
Summarizes and reviews both the major experimental techniques and theories that have been developed and applied in the study of diffusion in microporous solids. Covers the most important works--including those published in eastern bloc countries that have received limited coverage in the west--available on the subject today. Provides a theoretical framework, experimental methods and a comprehensive review of experimental data that illustrates the application of those methods. Additionally, it offers a summary of technological aspects of diffusion limited processes. S.I. Units as well as Torr and the atmosphere as units of pressure are used throughout.

Book Description
This book examines the molecular dynamics that occur within zeolites. Our understanding of how these marvelous catalysts work has been greatly enhanced by the advent ot new tools such as NMR, scanning-transmission-electron microscopy, and sophisticated computer modelling. By combining recent findings and newly developed models with classical developments in the theory of diffusion, this book provides a complete picture of the physical chemistry of hydrocarbon transformation in zeolites. It should be an excellent guide to those involved in catalyst design.

Book Description
The Handbook of Zeolite Science and Technology offers effective analyses ofsalient cases selected expressly for their relevance to current and prospective research. Presenting the principal theoretical and experimental underpinnings of zeolites, this international effort is at once complete and forward-looking, combining fundamental concepts with the most sophisticated data for each scientific subtopic and budding technology. Supplying over 750 figures, and 350 display equations, this impressive achievement in zeolite science observes synthesis through the lens of MFI (ZSM-5 and silicalite). Chapters progress from conceptual building blocks to complex research presentations.
