Book Description
The call to cast out demons is not for a select few; it is for every believer. After reading this book, I will have the boldness and proper understanding of deliverance so that I can be used to cast out demons and see people’s lives restored and made whole. At the end of 2020, revivalist Isaiah Saldivar had a visitation from the Holy Spirit in which He told him in so many words, “Isaiah, the church is unprepared and untrained in spiritual warfare; I want you to teach on casting out demons and spiritual warfare.” Isaiah began to emphasize deliverance training and spiritual warfare in his ministry, and what he thought would be a one-week teaching turned into eight straight months and more than sixty hours of video teachings on how to cast out demons and win the fight in the spirit. These videos have now amassed over 30 million views, and thousands have been delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit. In this book, Isaiah helps Christians who know they should be doing deliverance but don’t know how to go about it. Exploring the seven examples in the Gospels of Jesus casting out demons, and featuring stories from Saldivar’s life and ministry, this simple guide removes the mystery and provides practical training for believers who want to follow Jesus’ example of casting out demons and healing the sick. In these pages, Saldivar challenges readers to not ignore Satan’s kingdom and equips them to confront, resist, wrestle, stand against, and cast out. Those who are tired of sitting on the sidelines will be empowered to do the works of Jesus and be part of the most significant deliverance revival the world has ever seen.

Book Description
This is the book on Buddhism the new generation has been waiting for. If the Buddha were alive today, what would he say about the unique challenges we face? In Tea and Cake With Demons, NYC-based mindfulness and meditation teacher Adreanna Limbach shares a down-to-earth, often humorous, and delightfully insightful discussion of Buddhism through the lens of modern life—and all our cultural, technological, and still-timeless obstacles. So many of us go through our days feeling overwhelmed. We do our best to navigate the craziness of the modern world—finding a purpose while making ends meet, going down social media black holes but craving meaningful relationships, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a society that seems to be falling apart . . . At the end of the day, we have a sneaking suspicion of some fundamental flaw—our “demons” rear their heads, manifesting for many of us as a chronic sense of not-enoughness. Using The Four Noble Truths and The Eightfold Path as a guide, Adreanna guides us to meet all our most common demons—shame, perfectionism, self-doubt, fixation—all while myth-busting the cultural narratives that keep us stuck. Throughout Tea and Cake with Demons, Adreanna shares simple meditation practices, personal anecdotes, and traditional Buddhist tales that help you embrace the full experience of being human—even those pesky demons—and realize your fundamental, untouchable, and true self-worth.

Book Description
Among the most ancient deities of South Asia, the yakshas straddle the boundaries between popular and textual traditions in both Hinduism and Buddhism and both benevolent and malevolent facets. As a figure of material plenty, the yaksis epitomized as Kubera, god of wealth and king of the yaks In demonic guise, the yaksis related to a large family of demonic and quasi-demonic beings, such as nagas, gandharvas, raks, and the man-eating pisaacas. Translating and interpreting texts and passages from the Vedic literature, the Hindu epics, the Puranas, Kālidāsa's Meghadūta, and the Buddhist Jātaka Tales, Sutherland traces the development and transformation of the elusive yaks from an early identification with the impersonal absolute itself to a progressively more demonic and diminished terrestrial characterization. Her investigation is set within the framework of a larger inquiry into the nature of evil, misfortune, and causation in Indian myth and religion.

Three thousand years of encounters with malevolent beings that have invaded our waking lives and our nightmares A Penguin Classic For millennia, societies have told tales of their fears incarnate—otherworldly couriers of plague, death, temptation, and moral decline. The Penguin Book of Demons summons these supernatural creatures—and the humans who have hunted and been haunted by them—across cultures and continents: the daemons of ancient Greece and Rome; the giant, biblical half humans known as Nephilim who stalked the earth before the Great Flood; corrupted angels, condemned to eternity in Hell; the jinn of Islamic Arabia; the female, child-eating Gelloudes of Byzantium; the seductive incubi and succubi of northern Europe; the animal spirits of early modern China; and the cannibalistic Wendigo of Native American folklore. From demonic possession to black magic, these accounts give life to a spellbinding, skin-crawling history of the paranormal. For more than seventy-five years, Penguin has been the leading publisher of classic literature in the English-speaking world. Book Description
The devil's strongholds originated in the spirit realm. Satan, the devil, has many ways of creating and holding a person in a certain condition to benefit his purposes and cause in the world. Once he sets his plan, it's going to be carried out by the individual regardless of being a Christian; believer or nonbeliever, it makes no difference. He has a way to hold individuals to his cause, whether it's delayed or not; his method of holding persons under his control is even greater among Christians. Why is that? Because most Christians believe they are "exempt" from the devil's strongholds. Big mistake! No one is exempt from the forces of evil, whose strongholds are among the highest level of evil and wickedness in the spiritual realm. A person can bind themselves in a stronghold without having any knowledge; it's not Satan but their spirit of perception, which is as real, active, and alive as the person themselves, for which Satan, the devil, gets the credit and blame. The spirit of perception of the mind is more powerful than the world acknowledges. The spirit of perception can hold a person in restraint forever without changing their perception. The world does not acknowledge or consider the spirit of perception is the culprit, which Satan feeds off, and that holds the world, the entire world, in total darkness! Satan is the god of this world and its system of things, which he controls because of the world's lack of knowledge of strongholds. Most of the world population does not know what a stronghold really represents in all human lives. No one is exempt from strongholds, which can bind a person until death! This book, Breaking Strongholds of the Devil Satan, shall give some light to the world about how strongholds bind persons for lifetimes. He or she can be set free of any and all strongholds in minutes where others have been held a lifetime and died.

Book Description
"The Taming of the Demons" examines mythic and ritual themes of violence, demon taming, and blood sacrifice in Tibetan Buddhism. Taking as its starting point Tibet's so-called age of fragmentation (842 to 986 C.E.), the book draws on previously unstudied manuscripts discovered in the "library cave" near Dunhuang, on the old Silk Road. These ancient documents, it argues, demonstrate how this purportedly inactive period in Tibetan history was in fact crucial to the Tibetan assimilation of Buddhism, and particularly to the spread of violent themes from tantric Buddhism into Tibet at the local and the popular levels. Having shed light on this "dark age" of Tibetan history, the second half of the book turns to how, from the late tenth century onward, the period came to play a vital symbolic role in Tibet, as a violent historical "other" against which the Tibetan Buddhist tradition defined itself.
