Book Description
Discover the Ramayana-one of India's most celebrated epics, and a story that transcends time itself. The tale of Rama, the exiled prince of Ayodhya who battles the evil Ravana, the king of Lanka, and rescues his abducted wife, Sita, is about much more than the eternal battle of good versus evil. It is a tale of love, friendship, loyalty, devotion, righteousness, and deliverance. Ramayana and Rama, whose journey is told in the epic, are embedded in India's cultural consciousness, but they transcend borders. Various versions of the Ramayana can be found across the Indian subcontinent and in parts of southeast Asia. Created in consultation with distinguished economist, scholar, and translator Dr. Bibek Debroy, The Illustrated Ramayana draws from one of its earliest composers, the celebrated sage and poet Valmiki. It uses a combination of text and stunning images drawn from a variety of sources-historic and contemporary artifacts, paintings, photographs, and performances-to tell Rama's story as he walks the path that destiny creates for him.

When, I was finishing some last chapters of my book (the one, previous in series) – Ganesha : A Resolving Son, which talked how the elephant god eliminates obstacle, fundamentally which means how he fight with the demonic qualities present in Universe, I thought that only negative energies is what I am focusing upon and hence elaborating, the positive side of it should be also given preference. So, then I moved forward in pursuit of positive forces, then I found out that Ganesha’s mother governs some concealed energy, which might ‘act’ as my answers to the quest. Thus, then I decided that let this(previous) book be a part of series. The next book which I will be writing will be ‘loosely’ on the subject of astrology, and hence here I come up with – Durga : A Governing Mother. ISBN : 978-93-340-3274-1

Book Description
Sri Rama , an avatar of Lord Vishnu, was born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya after the king performed the Aswamedha and Putrakameshthi yajnas. Rama and his three brothers had all the qualities of kshyatriyas and endeared themselves to one and all in Ayodhya. Sage Viswamitra once came to the king’s palace and requested for Rama to be sent to protect his yajna from two demons’ interference. Much to the king’s consternation, Rama and Lakshmana left with the sage. The sage initiated Rama into the ‘Bala- Atibala’ mantra. He first tackled Tataki successfully. The sage was so pleased that he initiated Rama into a number of divine weapons. Rama, in turn, initiated Lakshmana into them. Armed suitably, all the three reached the ashram where the yajna was to be performed. Everything went off well for five days but on the sixth day, Rama and Lakshmana destroyed Mareecha and Subahu as well as many demons who tried to defile the yajna. The yajna was then completed successfully. In due course, the princes heard the stories of the sage’s parentage and how he came to live in Siddhashrama, of Ganga, Himavantha, King Sagara and Sage Kapila. They reached Gowthama’s ashrama where Rama relieved the sage’s wife, Ahalya, of the curse she had been under. Moving on from there, they went to Mithila where Rama won Sita’s hand. After their marriage, Lakshamana got married to Urmila, Bharatha to Mandavi and Shatrughna to Shrutakirthi. Our other books here can be searched using #BharathaSamskruthiPrakashana

Book Description
The Ramayana is a pure epic dealing with a theme and characters who lived in Trethayuga. As one reads through this series of ten books, one finds the epic unfold in its various facets through the delineation of the characters that are featured. The steadfastness of Rama, the utter helplessness of a Dasharatha, a brother’s devotion as seen in Lakshmana, a devotee’s surrender as seen in Hanuman, the bitter rivalry between brothers Vali and Sugreeva and the repentance that follows- all this and more make for very interesting and enlightening reading.
