Book Description
When she was 17, Alicia ran away from home. She left her baby brother, and the boyfriend she loved behind, without a word. She was scared and didn’t know what else to do. 17 years she did her best to live a good life. No matter what she did though, her heart was still in San Francisco. She was gone too long, surely they both moved on by now. Surely they wouldn’t want to see her again. Tim never got over the only girl he ever loved. He put his all into his “brothers,” into the school, and into the family business. He met his brothers when he was five, they created their own family. But what happens when he decides to take a job himself? What happens when one accident wipes his mind blank? Far from home and everyone he knows, or should know. What happens when he wakes up and sees the one thing his mind, and heart, never forgot? Is this Alicia’s chance for a fresh start with the man she loves? Is this her chance to escape from another demon in her life? Zack was one of the first recruits. Just because his sister left, didn’t mean the boys who had been around his whole life left him. Zack always struggled with his sister’s decision to leave, until he met Zoey. She needs his help. Alicia chose to run from her demons. Zoey chose to fight back. Book 4 of The Cooper Chronicles can be read on its own, or as part of the series. This book will give you a glimpse into how the brothers met, how they trained, how they became who they are. This book does contain triggers. Be warned. Both women witnessed the dark side of men, if you are not ready to read about others in that situation, please save this to your TBR list and read it when you are ready. From one survivor to another, there is no shame in taking the time you need to heal.
