Book Description
This book assumes you have knowledge of general management practices, but not necessarily specific Knowledge practices. It’s written so that you can skim through areas you are already familiar with, picking up the specific Knowledge terminology Those of you with no formal training in project management but lots of experience will find the management processes and techniques defined in such a way that you’ll recognize things you’ve always done and be able to identify them with Guide to the management process names or methodologies. Recent literature has shown a renewed interest in systems implementation research. Current trends in the organizational deployment of industries have motivated new studies of implementation efforts. A survey of this study of conceptual management, based on previously validated management methods and process. The results of the analysis show that, for the data of this study, the organizational priority given to implementation projects by top management is only associated indirectly with improved user information satisfaction (UIS). Only when this priority occurs in the management of continuing development and enhancement, does top management support seem to be significant to users. It was also found that the efficiency and flexibility of the development process was significant in its own right, even without any effects of top management support. Purpose: This handbook provides an overview of environment and energy management as conceptual management. This document describes the basic concepts and processes that guide environment and energy management planning and implementation during project development. Audience: Industry project managers, functional managers, and staff engaged in the delivery of environment and energy management research, academia. Background: The purpose of this handbook is to make the present policy/subject matter more useful and easier to understand with enhanced concepts. I acknowledge my debts to my wife Smita for her constant support, my sister Indrayani for encouragement. I express my deep sense of gratitude to Hon. Shri. Vijaysigh Shankarrao Mohite-Patil, Founder, SMSMPITR, Akluj, Hon. Shri. Jaysigh Shankarrao Mohite-Patil, Chairman, SMSMPITR, Akluj, Hon. Introduction of a New Conceptual Framework for Government Debt Management
Author: Anja Hubig
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 3658009187
Category : Business & Economics
Languages : en
Pages : 228
Book Description
Against the background of the financial-cum-sovereign debt crisis, government debt managers are currently faced by a challenging environment. One key element in that respect is the analysis and forecast of interest rates, which is important for achieving the strategic objective of low borrowing costs. Anja Hubig develops a new mathematical method to estimate the term structure of interest rates, that is adopted to describe the term structure dynamics within a stochastic setting. The introduced model is capable to capture the complex behavior of the entire yield curve with a reduced set of parameters. It essentially ensures a comprehensive analysis of the costs and risks associated with individual funding strategies, and thus effectively supports the selection of a long-term optimal debt portfolio composition.

Hydrogeological Conceptual Site Models
Author: Neven Kresic
Publisher: CRC Press
ISBN: 1439852227
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 603
Book Description
A reference for students, researchers, and environmental professionals, Hydrogeological Conceptual Site Models: Data Analysis and Visualization explains how to develop effective conceptual site models, perform advanced spatial data analysis, and generate informative graphics for applications in hydrogeology and groundwater remediation. Written by expert practitioners, this full-color book illustrates how fundamental hydrogeological concepts are translated into quantitative, high-resolution computer visualizations. In addition, the authors discuss topics not typically covered in conventional textbooks, including GIS technology and the relationship between conceptual site models and environmental policy. Advanced Methods for Data Analysis and Visualization Featuring more than 500 color illustrations, this unique and visually powerful book outlines the required elements of a conceptual site model and provides numerous examples of supporting charts, cross-sections, maps, and 3D graphics. The authors describe advanced analytical methods such as geospatial processing, kriging, and groundwater modeling through practical real-life examples. They also present numerous case studies in groundwater supply and remediation to help explain key engineering design concepts. Data-Driven Assessments of Groundwater Management Policy The authors tackle controversial topics, ranging from technical impracticability of groundwater remediation to sustainable management of groundwater resources. They encourage discussion and independent thought about how current environmental policies and practices can evolve to achieve better outcomes at less cost to society. Practical Strategies for Communicating Your Findings to the General Public While the book is technical in nature, equations and advanced theory are kept to a minimum. The text focuses on practical strategies to help you create easy-to-understand data tables, graphs, maps, and illustrations for technical and nontechnical audiences alike. A companion DVD includes animations, reference material, modeling software, and more.

Applying Conceptual Models of Nursing
Author: Dr. Jacqueline Fawcett, PhD, ScD (hon), RN, FAAN, ANEF
Publisher: Springer Publishing Company
ISBN: 082618006X
Category : Medical
Languages : en
Pages : 436
Book Description
This practical resource for nursing students, educators, researchers, and practitioners provides content about the conceptual models of nursing that are used as organizing frameworks for nursing practice, quality improvement projects, and research. Chapters break these abstract models down into their core concepts and definitions. Discussions of each model provide examples of practical application so readers can employ these organizing frameworks. This is the only book to apply these models to quality improvement projects, particularly those in DNP programs and clinical agencies. For every conceptual model, diagrams, information boxes, and other visual elements clarify and reinforce information. Each chapter features applications of the conceptual models to a wide variety of examples, including nursing practice assessment and an intervention, a literature review and descriptive qualitative, instrument development, correlational, experimental, and mixed-method studies. Other valuable features include faculty templates for practice, quality improvement, and research methodologies for each conceptual model, along with extensive references. Key Features: Focuses on applying conceptual models in practice Demonstrates how a wide range of nursing conceptual models are applied to nursing practice, quality improvement, and research PowerPoint templates for each conceptual model avaliable to faculty Provides abundant diagrams, boxes, and other visual elements to clarify and reinforce information Includes an extensive list of references for each conceptual model
