Social workers have been using cognitive methods of intervention for decades. They have borrowed elements of cognitive therapy to augment work undertaken with particular clients and have followed cognitive therapy protocols more completely when client problems seem to call for it. This book is intended as a theoretical and practical resource for both new and experienced teachers of a second language.
