China's citizenship challenge tells a story of how labour NGOs contest migrant workers' citizenship marginalisation in China. This edited volume addresses how transnational interactions among civil society actors in Asia and its sub-regions are helping to strengthen common democratic values and transform dominant processes of policymaking and corporate capitalism in the region. The Internet in China reflects many contradictions and complexities of the society in which it is embedded.
