The purpose of this project was to evaluate the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic (LACGC) in California using the logic model. This evaluation intends to understand the implementation, processes and expected outcomes of the clinic. The methodology consisted of a program evaluation using the logic model and a literature review of public existing research. The results found that this clinic continues to provide mental health resources, behavioral health, housing and is consistent with activities that continue to bring positive outcomes. The LACGC collaborates and partners with various local agencies, law enforcement and housing developments to address the needs of the community and to provide various services such as mental health and behavioral services. LACGC strives to create a sense of community through various programs using art, music, and mentors who can guide and provide individuals with new opportunities such as education, employment, and housing.
