Book Description
In the new Secret, Book, and Scone Society novel from New York Times bestselling author Ellery Adams, the rain in Miracle Springs, North Carolina, has been relentless—and a flood of trouble is about to be unleashed . . . Nora Pennington figures all the wet weather this spring is at least good for business. The local inns are packed with stranded travelers, and among them Nora finds new customers for her store, Miracle Books. Since a little rain never hurt anyone, Nora rides her bike over to the flea market one sodden day and buys a bowl from Danny, a Cherokee potter. But the next day, after Miracle River overflows its banks, and Danny’s body is found floating within the churning waters, Nora decides it’s time for the Secret, Book, and Scone Society to spring into action. A crucial clue may lie within the stone walls of the Inn of Mist and Roses: a diary, over a century old and spattered with candle wax, that leads Nora and her friends through a maze of intrigue—and onto the trail of a murderer . . . “A love letter to reading, with sharp characterizations and a smart central mystery.” —Entertainment Weekly on The Whispered Word

Book Description
This book is a journey within myself to uncover the wondrous being that I am to be, a colliding of dark versus light, dawn versus dusk, day versus night. Hmm... You may be wondering why this is important. Why is it necessary, and how is it even possible? I was formed in a state of darkness, but within nine months I made my way to the light. I came into this earth as an untouched shape of energy, pure and encased with love. Over a period of time, the layers of the world encased me and added weight to a weightless spirit. . . . I began my search for who I am without the labels and the stereotypes. The world dictated who I was supposed to be: an inauthentic clone of my real self which stood before me. Slowly I began to realize that the real me, the real Dawn, is encased with every comment, every judgment! Each and every word that has been spoken to me in a positive, negative, loving, or judgmental kind of way has stuck to me like glue and begun to create layers within the light and dark dimension deep within. It would seem that maybe I had to create those layers to live within the world. But did I? Did I have to rebuke shame, fear, judgment, or any other negativity? How did that alter my perception of life or my judgment of others who are the same as me living, breathing human beings on this earth whose main purpose is to enjoy and let the spirit take over to express, seek, and embrace their purpose? Many times I have posted on social media, "Live on purpose with purpose." That is a powerful statement to me and a favorite of mine for sure. You cannot live by default or by accident. There is no right or wrong, good or bad. It is a journey, an experience . . . your life! As I have traveled many roads along this journey, I have been made aware that the very same things that are thrust in my world are things that were meant to be since my arrival into the world. There is a judgmental piece of us all due to fear, ego, and the stresses of the world. How do I become whole? It seems to me that I have been living half of my true self the whole time, and now I am on a journey through conscious thoughts and words to be whole! This is my contribution to the world: words that are channeled through me for myself and for you to embrace! You can utilize them in your life and share them with others, as we are all connected. Fusing the dual parts of life will bring you to an awakening of your true self. It will allow you to become one within the very being you are that connects us all.

Book Description
"A departure at right angles to thinking in the modern Western world. An important, original work, that should get the widest possible hearing" (Iain McGilchrist, author of The Master and his Emissary) Middle Way Philosophy is not about compromise, but about the avoidance of dogma and the integration of conflicting assumptions. To rely on experience as our guide, we need to avoid the interpretation of experience through unnecessary dogmas. Drawing on a range of influences in Buddhist practice, Western philosophy and psychology, Middle Way Philosophy questions alike the assumptions of scientific naturalism, religious revelation and political absolutism, trying to separate what addresses experience in these doctrines from what is merely assumed. This Omnibus edition of Middle Way Philosophy includes all four of the volumes previously published separately: 1. The Path of Objectivity, 2. The Integration of Desire, 3. The Integration of Meaning, and 4. The Integration of Belief.
