Samuel Plummer Boggs was born 2 April 1893 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. His parents were Noah Edward Boggs and Clora Jane Kincaid. He married Hilda Garringer, daughter of Isaac Luther Garringer and Bertha Achsah Hammers, 11 January 1919 in Indiana. They had five children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana.
