These systems combine technical, financial, legal, fiscal and organizational elements with a great deal of applied expertise, and are articulated within a clear, well-understood, growth- and job-generating development strategy.Inequality reduction does not occur by decree; neither does it automatically arise through economic growth, nor through policies that equalize incomes downward via ill conceived fiscal policies. Abstract: A diet manual incorporating current diet therapy concepts and recent research on nutritional management is presented for use by medical and dietary personnel in health care facilities. Therapeutic and special diets are arranged in 8 tabulated sections: standard hospital diets; pediatric nutrition; modified consistency and gastrointestinal diets; calorie, protein, fat, and sodium controlled diets; and miscellaneous and test diets. Diets reflect revised recommendations of the American Diabetes and Heart Associations where applicable, and meet RDAs unless otherwise noted.
