L'enseignement de l'oral est l'une des priorités des nouveaux programmes. Ceci montre un tournant dans les pratiques de l'enseignement. En effet, jusqu'aux années soixante, la priorité était donnée à l'enseignement de l'écrit et depuis les années soixante-dix, une importance nouvelle est donnée à l'oral. Aujourd'hui, les résultats de nombreuses recherchent montrent que l'articulation entre l'oral et l'écrit, constitue une aide pour les apprentissages. En lien avec ces études, la problématique de mon mémoire est la suivante : « Articuler oral et écrit : processus combiné de productions écrites et orales autour du genre de la fable ». La séquence sur laquelle j'ai travaillé avec ma classe de CM1 correspond à un travail autour des fables faisant intervenir et se croiser les compétences orales et écrites. Les objectifs d'apprentissage sont la réécriture d'une fable sous la forme d'un dialogue en vue d'une présentation orale la plus naturelle possible à partir de l'écrit produit. Les résultats obtenus ont montré que les allers-retours entre l'oral et l'écrit ont été bénéfiques. De plus la réalisation d'une phase d'improvisation orale a été un choix judicieux car elle a permis d'enrichir les productions en éliminant la contrainte graphique et en permettant plus de spontanéité.

The Sounds of Early Cinema is devoted exclusively to a little-known, yet absolutely crucial phenomenon: the ubiquitous presence of sound in early cinema. "Silent cinema" may rarely have been silent, but the sheer diversity of sound(s) and sound/image relations characterizing the first 20 years of moving picture exhibition can still astonish us. Whether instrumental, vocal, or mechanical, sound ranged from the improvised to the pre-arranged (as in scripts, scores, and cue sheets). The practice of mixing sounds with images differed widely, depending on the venue (the nickelodeon in Chicago versus the summer Chautauqua in rural Iowa, the music hall in London or Paris versus the newest palace cinema in New York City) as well as on the historical moment (a single venue might change radically, and many times, from 1906 to 1910).
