Book Description
Suddenly, there were black clouds in the sky. Everyone heard a loud noise coming from the sky and they all knew that Vorltrarr the Dragon was coming. King Aurthorr yelled out, "Daughters, Vorltrarr comes! Get ready your weapons! The time has come for you to fulfill the prophecy!" Princess Sasha, Princess Trina, Princess Alexandra and Rebecca walked up ahead of the army and lined up together in a row. They looked like warriors! Rebecca was not afraid! She took a deep breath and got her weapon ready for the task that lay ahead. She understood the prophecy now and had faith in herself and the Princesses. She was determined not to let them or the Land of Antigua down. They each pulled out their bows and prepared to kill the dragon. The Dragon Vorltrarr got nearer to the heroes! Fire came out of his nostrils and his mouth. Princess Alexandra handed each of the other girls one of the special arrows that they had gotten from the Head Centaur of the Unicorns. All four of the girls pointed their bows up into the air and waited for Vorltrarr to come nearer. Vorltrarr let out such a loud noise that the ground shook! Then fire came right out of his nostrils. The Wizard Thandorfur held his mighty wand up toward the sky and yelled, "Mighty clouds of the sky, I call upon you to bring forth lightening to destroy the Dragon Vorltrarr!" Suddenly the black clouds over the Dragon Vorltrarr began to roar like a freight train. Large lightening bolts came out of the clouds toward Vorltrarr. One lightening bolt struck Vorltrarr and wounded him but it didn't kill him!

Book Description
I probably watch too much news, read too many newspapers, magazines, and blogs, and have too many conversations with people about politics. Often in my mind, I consider myself better than politicians. I may be better than some but not all of them. What I notice is that I make similar mistakes to those in charge. Because of this, I'm willing to say I'm not perfect. And I have the experiences to prove it. Join me in a journey to tell people why I should not run for public office, nor should I receive any write-in votes in the next election. If you do opt for writing my name in on your ballot and are uncertain how, ask for assistance from the helpful people at your voting location and write in my full name, James E. Collins. You may not change an election, but maybe it will change your outlook, knowing that you can vote for whom you want to, not someone you are being told to vote for. As an afterthought, please don't tell me about ending a sentence with a preposition. I tend to do that.

Book Description
The diary and essays of Brian Eno republished twenty-five years on with a new introduction by the artist in a beautiful hardback edition.'One of the seminal books about music . . . an invaluable insight into the mind and working practices of one of the industry's undeniable geniuses.'GUARDIANAt the end of 1994, Brian Eno resolved to keep a diary. His plans to go to the cinema, theatre and galleries fell quickly to the wayside. What he did do - and write - however, was astonishing: ruminations on his collaborative work with David Bowie, U2, James and Jah Wobble, interspersed with correspondence and essays dating back to 1978. These 'appendices' covered topics from the generative and ambient music Eno pioneered to what he believed the role of an artist and their art to be, alongside adroit commentary on quotidian tribulations and happenings around the world. This beautiful 25th-anniversary hardcover edition has been redesigned in the same size as the diary that eventually became this book. It features two ribbons, pink paper delineating the appendices (matching the original edition) and a two-tone paper-over-board cover, which pays homage to the original design. An intimate insight into one of the most influential creative artists of our time, A Year with Swollen Appendices is an essential classic.

Book Description
Moon People 2 This story is about the space Adventures of 1st Science Officer Captain David Braymer and his transition from the Lunar Base 1 base station to his new home the Powleens traded them called the Aurora,a spaceship that looks like a Moon also known as "Goddess of The Dawn" it is 10 kilometers in diameter and with light speed capability. It's the size of a small city.It has everything a small city would have like two hospitals and restaurants and shopping malls all over the ship. Captain Braymer also has a romantic attachment to a young lady by the name of Lieutenant Heather Courtney who is an Officers Aid.They have a few out of the ordinary experiences that they do not forget any time soon. And our new friends the Powleens have advanced us centuries ahead of our time. They also traded us for five of their newest ships in their space fleet all with light speed capability with all of their weapons in tacked. They traded us for all kinds of their gadgetrÝs and even some of their food. That's what they do go all over the Galaxy looking for friends and ultimate knowledge and trade with everyone they can find.Commander Braymer also has a mission to do a genesis on Mars that turns out surprisingly good with a few added benefits. One of the benefits was discovering a lot of Martian people and animals in a Noah ark kind of setup that has been frozen for over 100,000 years in life support chambers. They were all brought back to life again. There were many discoveries' not to mention all of the futuristic weapons they find with aircraft all superior to anything at present by anyone. And nobody expected the Martians to have special mental powers like telekinetic and telekinesis and all sorts of mental telepathy powers like mind transference and the power to levitate in the air. Well everything was going pretty smooth until Galactic war breaks out all over the universe and the final Battle happens in our solar system. It was Earth with the Powleen people and also the Martians against the snake looking people called the Arcons and their friends the Thracians who resemble dog like people with sharp claws. There were crashed ships all over our planets and their moons in our solar system. It was the Battle of all Battles. It decided the control of our Galaxy. If you think all of this sounds good wait till you read the book, its action packed from start to finish. I know you will enjoy Moon People Trilogy. It's some of my best work. And don't worry some day you just might see something that resembles "Moon People 3"coming to your local Book store near you. Thank you and God Bless. Dale M.Courtney Author

Book Description
Katya Mandoki advances in this book the thesis that it is not only possible but crucial to open up the field of aesthetics (traditionally confined to the study of art and beauty) toward the richness and complexity of everyday life. She argues that in every process of communication, whether face to face or through the media, fashion, and political propaganda, there is always an excess beyond the informative and functional value of a message. This excess is the aesthetic. Following Huizinga's view of play as an ingredient of any social environment, Mandoki explores how various cultural practices are in fact forms of playing since, for the author, aesthetics and play are Siamese twins. One of the unique contributions of this book is the elaboration and application of a semiotic model for the simultaneous analysis of social interactions in the four registers, namely visual, auditory, verbal and body language, to detect the aesthetic strategies deployed in specific situations. She argues that since the presentation of the self is targeted towards participants' sensibilities, aesthetics plays a key role in these modes of exchange. Consequently, the author updates important debates in this field to clear the way for a socio-aesthetic inquiry through contexts such as the family, school, medical, artistic or religious traditions from which social identities emerge.
