Elle décrit le pourcentage d'utilisation de ces anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens, si cette prise se fait en automédication ou sur ordonnance, et les connaissances des patients en termes d'effets indésirables. Nous observons ainsi que ces anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens sont largement utilisés par les patients, notamment en automédication. Nos résultats montrent également que leurs effets indésirables sont très mal connus par les patients, notamment les effets indésirables rénaux et infectieux. A l'aide d'articles, nous faisons un point sur les connaissances scientifiques actuelles en termes d'effets indésirables des anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens. Ils sont largement connus et décrits pour les effets indésirables gastriques et rénaux. Pour ce qui est des effets indésirables infectieux, on retrouve plusieurs études mais ils sont beaucoup moins représentés que les deux précédents. Après avoir confronté les résultats de notre étude avec les résultats d'études similaires, nous proposons des points d'amélioration au pharmacien d'officine, afin que la délivrance d'anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens se fasse de manière optimale, et que ceux-ci soit utilisés par les patients, avec un risque limité de complications.
