A través del estudio de 61 casos, el lector puede desarrollar un conocimiento abundante y práctico de las aplicaciones clínicas de la anatomía y de sus diferentes subdisciplinas como anatomía patológica, biología celular, embriología, anatomía microscópica, histología, neuroanatomía y anatomía radiológica. La organización de los casos clínicos es común, y a lo largo de cada uno de ellos se presentan las manifestaciones clínicas, la historia clínica junto con la exploración física, los resultados de las pruebas analíticas y diagnósticas, el diagnóstico y el tratamiento. "John Paul Lederach's work in the field of conciliation and mediation is internationally recognized.
