La fluence verbale est un test court très utilisé en pratique clinique orthophonique ou neuropsychologique. Il permet d'évaluer la disponibilité lexicale d'un sujet sous contrainte littérale ou sémantique dans un temps donné. Le score quantitatif ne permet pas de définir précisément les dysfonctionnements cognitifs présents dans les pathologies neurodégénératives. Dans cette étude, les fluences verbales sont analysées de manière qualitative. Le but est de montrer la pertinence de certains indices qualitatifs dans rétablissement d'un profil cognitif spécifique à chaque pathologie neurodégénérative. Pour ce faire, 72 sujets de langue maternelle française, comportant 20 sujets atteints de la Maladie d'Alzheimer (MA), 8 atteints de Dégénérescence fronto-temporale variante comportementale (DFTvc), 8 atteints d'Aphasie Primaire Progressive sémantique (APPsém) et 36 sujets contrôles ont effectué des fluences verbales de deux minutes chacune. Les fluences sémantiques des animaux, meubles et fruits leur ont été soumises ainsi que les fluences littérales de la lettre «P» et «R». Des données neuropsychologiques et orthophoniques ont été collectées afin d'effectuer une analyse de corrélation avec les indices qualitatifs relevés. Les résultats montrent que certains indices qualitatifs permettent de distinguer les pathologies neurodégénératives de sujets « normaux » mais aussi de les distinguer entre-elles. Les indices qualitatifs apportent des informations supplémentaires sur le fonctionnement cognitif d'un sujet, ce qui peut contribuer à l'établissement de son profil neuropsychologique.

To define them, to evaluate the absolute and relative risk of these sequelaes and to describe the ways of their prevention, diagnosis and treatment, the 5th Suvretta meeting had focussed on this subject. We discussed if there’s a principle risk by technique, material or both. The results of these discussions and the future handling and evaluation of this problem was the aim of this meeting. Even the best method can be made better by optimization of its single components.
