The Logarithmic Sobolev inequality with respect to the Gaussian measure in Euclidean space was proven in 1975. Since then the inequality has been studied through myriad lenses and in different contexts. This thesis aims to understand how to prove log Sobolev inequalities with respect to more general log-concave measures. In this thesis we review the results in From Brunn-Minkowski to Brascamp-Lieb and to Logarithmic Sobolev inequalities [1]. The authors use elementary yet clever techniques to prove such functional inequalities under minimal assumptions. Our analysis presents these ideas and expands on some of the more nuanced details.
