Many phyficians of accuracy and eminence allege, that they have ac'tually feen adults af fected by the difeafes now under confideration, more cfpe cially by that of hydrocephalus internus. I admit and be lieve that fuch cafes do indeed occur; but they are fo extremely rare, as to merit no particular attention in an elfay chiefly confined to general obfervations and principles, and not in tended to treat of fubjeas in minute detail.
