Collegiate athletes are different than the general student population in that they have a much wider variety of factors to consider when selecting a university. This study investigated the factors and campus visit activities that recruits deem the most important while they are going through the recruiting process. A survey was sent out to Senior high school football athletes who had been through the recruiting process to identify what the most important factors and campus visit actives are when selecting a university. This study also investigates the difference between recruits from different sized high-schools. The results of this study could potentially be used to help college football coaches determine the factors that are most important to a student-athlete and how to create the best campus visit experience for a potential student-athlete.
