His residency was followed by a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois where he was mentored by Dr. John Phair.Dr. Gullberg is double boarded in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and is an Adjunct Professor of Clincal Medicine/Infectious Disease. He has practiced Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in a large community hospital for over three decades. During that time, he has trained hundreds of medical students, PA students, and nursing students at all levels. He is a seasoned lecturer in clinical areas of Clinical Infectious Diseases, and he continues to teach principles of Infectious Diseases on a daily basis.
