The water management plan for the South Saskatchewan River Basin (SSRB) is intended to provide guidance to decision makers and act as a foundation for future watershed management planning of sub-basins in the SSRB by Watershed Planning and Advisory Councils and stewardship groups. The plan applies to all the named rivers and tributaries in the SSRB; these are: the Red Deer, Bow, Oldman, and South Saskatchewan River Sub-basins.
